Job summary

KLA, a leader in semiconductor inspection and metrology, seeks an Electrical Engineer to advance integrated power systems for cutting-edge tools. You will collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to design, test, and validate new subsystems, owning them from concept through production.

The role requires strong problem-solving, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and travel up to 20%. A Master’s degree is preferred and experience with PLCs and power electronics is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a Master’s degree with related work experience; 0+ years for Master’s path or 2+ years for Bachelor's path.
• Experience in electrical system integration and power delivery across 120–480VAC.
• Strong ability to design, validate, and integrate electrical subsystems in complex tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of electrical parts, modules, and subsystems for integrated measurement systems.
• Own full design lifecycle from requirements to component selection and cost analysis.
• Program PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and integrate control and safety-interlock systems.
• Create conceptual and detailed designs using AutoCAD/CREO; produce BOMs, test procedures, and fixtures.
• Lead design reviews and collaborate across mechanical, software, and manufacturing.
• Procure prototype parts, test, and support system integration and handoff.
