Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Danbury CT is seeking an Electrical Engineer or Electrical Draftsman for panel design. You will create wiring diagrams, select panel components, and work with project managers and systems engineers to deliver a packaged, budget-conscious solution.

Ideal candidates have a 4-year electrical engineering degree, hands-on AutoCAD or DraftSight experience, and a drive to continuously improve.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• AutoCAD or DraftSight experience required.
• Experience with electrical assembly.
• Experience being measured against monthly goals.
• Strong Microsoft Office experience.
• Desire to continuously improve.
• Familiarity with burner management systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with construction drawings and specifications.
• Good communication skills.
• Good time management skills.
• Self-starting and pride in workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Design development from proposal to finished engineering package.
• Use AutoCAD to create wiring diagrams and enclosure layouts.
• Perform basic electrical component calculations to determine panel design.
• Research components and create Bills of Materials for designs.
• Review customer specification documents to ensure compliance.
• Interpret and adhere to applicable codes and standards.
• Assist applications engineer to generate proposal.
• Slight travel for meetings and site visits 10%.
