Job summary

Ellaway Blues Consulting seeks an Electrical Engineer for a Dallas-based client in the clean energy and advanced manufacturing sector. Lead the design of low and medium voltage electrical systems from concept to commissioning for a new greenfield facility.

The ideal candidate has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, 3+ years in industrial electrical design, and strong knowledge of NEC, IEEE, IEC, OSHA, NRTL standards, with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical experience.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of electrical design in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Strong foundation in medium-voltage systems and control panels.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of low and medium voltage systems for new facility construction.
• Develop single-line diagrams, schematics, and load layouts.
• Configure grounding, lightning protection, and cable routing.
• Prepare panel schedules and PLC/control layouts.
• Review submittals to ensure safety, code compliance, and quality.
• Assist with power studies and field support during commissioning.
