Job summary

Goshen Engineering is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to create and maintain electrical design documentation for industrial control panels, UL891 switchboards, power distribution products, and related control systems using AutoCAD Electrical. This role reports to the Engineering Design Manager and supports multiple projects with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Two or more years of related electrical design, CAD, controls, or power distribution experience.
• Strong electrical CAD skills and ability to create/modify schematics and documentation.
• Good understanding of UL508A and NEC/NFPA standards and Goshen design practices.

Responsibilities

• Use AutoCAD Electrical to create, modify, and maintain electrical schematics and drawings for control panels and power distribution products.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers and other teams to develop and refine circuits.
• Interpret schematics, bills of materials, and customer requirements into design documentation.
• Work with Production to ensure manufacturability, cost efficiency, and accurate shop drawings.
• Provide technical support to Quality and Field Service on design-related questions and issues.
