Job summary

Interface Engineering, Inc. in New York City is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer II/III (MEP) for a hybrid role.

Join a 100% employee-owned firm offering Collaboration from Home with a hybrid schedule (2 days in-office per week minimum) and a culture that values innovation and impact. The role involves leading complex electrical design, coordinating documents, and collaborating with clients and internal teams, while mentoring junior staff and supporting project management within our MEP

Qualifications

  • BS or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
  • 2+ years' MEP design and consulting experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of electrical building codes and standards.
  • Ability to perform multiple functions in multi-deadline changing operations.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

  • Innovative and complex electrical system design.

  • Meeting and consulting with clients.

What You’ll Bring:
Required:
  • BS, Electrical Engineering
  • 2+ years' MEP design and consulting experience
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of electrical building codes and standards
  • Ability to perform multiple functions in multi-deadline changing operations
  • Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Preferred:
  • A Professional Engineering License
  • LEED Accreditation
  • Working IES-VE knowledge
