Job summary

Our client, a Madison-based Electrical Engineering and Manufacturing firm, seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to support electrical project documentation and design integrity. The role offers a 4 days onsite / 1 day remote arrangement, relocation assistance, and a 5% bonus potential with a salary range of $90,000 - $130,000.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of experience in electrical build or related fields, with proficiency in Bluebeam, Epicor, and Microsoft

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy, quality, and intent of electrical project documentation through detailed schematic and print reviews.
• Lead the completion of electrical drawing packages, ensuring compliance with NEC standards and internal electrical standards.
• Support production by responding to design-related questions and resolving issues during build and test phases.
• Collaborate with external engineering leads during technical handoffs, clarifying scope and development requirements.
• Assist with the assessment and selection of long-lead materials and major electrical equipment to support project schedules.
