Job summary

An Electrical Associate Graduate Engineer will design systems for overhead and subsurface utility projects, developing solutions across electrical, structural, civil, and construction disciplines.

The role emphasizes ownership of the design lifecycle from initiation to closeout, with increased client communication and risk management responsibilities. Travel is expected less than 25%.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
• EIT certification preferred.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• US driver's license and US work authorization.
• Ability to work independently and in interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong Office365 and 2D CAD knowledge.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar 2D CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Design engineering systems for overhead and subsurface utility projects.
• Prepare detailed engineering and construction documents using AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS, and asset management platforms.
• Analyze information from surveys, atlas data, field sketches, client records, and datasheets.
• Prepare reports and studies meeting client requirements.
• Work with project management and leadership to manage project risk.
• Communicate complex engineering matters to stakeholders.
• Own all design lifecycle phases from initiation to closeout.
• Travel as needed (<25%).
