Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design, analyze, and optimize electrical components for the gas power portfolio. You will work across the product lifecycle, from initial design to field issue resolution, ensuring safety and performance through advanced analysis and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include performing thermal, stress, and modal analyses, creating wiring and schematic diagrams, and supporting RCA/CAPA activities while collaborating with global sites

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical / Power Systems Engineering.
• 0-1 years of intern/co-op experience.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and process rigor.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze electrical components across the gas power portfolio.
• Perform thermal, stress, and modal analyses of components.
• Create design documentation including drawings, specifications, layouts, and diagrams.
• Support root cause analysis and CAPA to improve reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and interpret diagrams to improve system design.
