Job summary

Vogrinc Search Group is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join the New Product Development team for a manufacturer of highly engineered equipment. The role covers taking ideas from concept through electrical design, prototyping, testing, refinement, and production.

Ideal candidates will have PCB design experience, embedded firmware development, and hands-on engineering ownership to bring electronic products to life.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 2 years of professional electronic product design experience.
• Hands-on PCB design and schematic development experience.
• Experience with embedded programming/firmware development.
• Experience designing ruggedized/industrial products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new electronic and electromechanical products from concept through production.
• Create and modify electrical schematics and PCB designs.
• Select components and develop production-ready circuit designs.
• Develop and troubleshoot embedded firmware.
• Prototype, test, analyze, and refine new product designs.
• Work with motors, actuators, controllers, sensors, and DC power systems.
• Integrate electronic systems with vehicle and equipment interfaces.
• Troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and system-level issues.
• Work with Manufacturing and Quality to improve reliability and manufacturability.
