Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design electrical power distribution, lighting, lighting controls, grounding, and low-voltage systems.
• Work with fire alarm, telecommunications, security, and other building technologies.
• Coordinate designs with architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and engineering teams.
• Participate in field investigations and periodic construction site visits.
• Review equipment submittals and assist with construction-phase activities.
• Ensure designs comply with NEC, NFPA, and building code requirements.

An established and growing engineering consulting firm is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer / Electrical Designer to join its team and contribute to the design of a variety of commercial and institutional building projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for an electrical engineering professional with strong MEP and Revit experience to work on projects from design through construction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop electrical and technology system designs for commercial and institutional buildings.
