Job summary

You will design electrical schematics, control panels, power distribution, and troubleshooting, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and PLC integration is required, with a focus on safety interlocks and industrial standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience, or MS with 3+ years.
• Experience designing electrical systems for complex equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with electrical troubleshooting, analog/digital circuits, and power distribution.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar electrical CAD tools.
• Knowledge of PLCs, safety interlocks, and industrial safety standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Engineer-To-Order (ETO), sustaining, and continuous improvement projects for complex capital equipment.
• Design and modify electrical schematics, electrical control panels and wiring diagrams.
• Integrate electrical components such as PLCs, relays, circuit breakers, and safety interlocks.
• Support product development, upgrades, sustaining engineering, and continuous improvement projects.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems during build, testing, commissioning, and production.
• Create and maintain engineering drawings, BOMs, ECNs, and ECO documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and deliver robust solutions.
• Participates in new product design, upgrade, obsolescence, and sustaining development activities utilizing AutoCAD, including engineering drawing creation and changes, as well as BOM and ECN/ECO creation.
