Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a global engineering team responsible for designing and innovating our rapidly expanding data center footprint.

You will work on electrical distribution systems, drive uptime, and collaborate with utilities, vendors, and internal groups to ensure safety, cost effectiveness, and performance. Travel up to 20% of your time, primarily to Virginia-based data centers with international coordination expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office incl. Outlook, Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical distribution systems for data centers and create construction documents.
• Ensure designs meet quality and budget requirements and comply with codes.
• Review equipment submittals and define project scope; provide technical support during construction.
