DLB Associates is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Mission Critical Department. This role offers remote work across the United States to design and support electrical systems for hyperscale data centers and critical facilities.

You will collaborate with senior designers, perform advanced electrical engineering tasks, and utilize AutoCAD and Revit. Travel up to 10% is expected; ABET-accredited EE degree required; salary range $83,000–$200,000 per year.

Job description

Join DLB Associates, a leading engineering and consulting firm, as an Electrical Engineer in our Mission Critical Department. Work remotely across the U.S. to design and support electrical systems for hyperscale data centers and mission-critical facilities.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with senior design staff to develop electrical designs and construction documents.
• Perform intermediate to advanced engineering tasks including electrical computations, design, and specifications.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for drawing and documentation.
• Assist in surveying existing conditions and preparing technical reports.
• Support construction activities including reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, and project close-out.
• Prepare progress reports and manage project deliverables.
• Leverage AI and digital tools to enhance efficiency and innovation.

REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of electrical systems fundamentals, codes, and specifications.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to perform code analyses and equipment selection.
• Strong communication skills, both technical and non-technical. - Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote work environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and uphold safety standards.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% within the U.S.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.

SALARY OFFERED

The pay range for this role is based on the experience level. Salary range is: $83,000 – $200,000 USD per year
