Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our New Product Development team. You will design, develop, test, and launch electrical/electromechanical products from concept through production, collaborating with product management, production, quality, supply chain, sales, and marketing to ensure performance, safety, cost, and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of electrical design, controls, or product development in manufacturing.
• Strong proficiency with SolidWorks; DriveWorks is a plus.
• Experience designing control systems for industrial equipment and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of electrical/electromechanical products from concept to production.
• Create schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and control panel layouts.
• Design electrical control systems including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, relays, motors, and power distribution.
• Support prototyping, testing, validation, and ECO actions during the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and sales teams.
• Develop and maintain 3D models and engineering drawings in SolidWorks.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and project status meetings.
