Adecco US, Inc. seeks an Electrical Engineer for Building Systems Design in Honolulu, HI. Direct Hire with a salary range of $97,960–$124,800 per year.

The firm offers 100% employee ownership and decades of Hawaiʻi-based project experience. You’ll lead the full project lifecycle from investigation and design through construction documents, coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, project managers, and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least five years of professional electrical design experience.
• Experience across multiple design and construction phases.
• At least five years of AutoCAD experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and project delivery processes.
• FE/EIT completion is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Current Hawaiʻi experience or established local ties preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs from concepts to construction documents.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, studies, reports, calculations, and submission packages.
• Perform site investigations, inspections, assessments, and field measurements.
• Evaluate existing conditions and translate field information into practical electrical designs.
• Apply city, state, federal, and client-specific codes and design standards.
• Coordinate electrical systems with architectural, mechanical, civil, and other disciplines.
• Review documents for accuracy, completeness, constructability, and code compliance.
• Address comments from clients and internal quality-control reviews.
• Establish project schedules and manage deliverables across multiple design phases.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs and opinions of probable construction cost.
• Present technical information during internal and client meetings.
• Communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Monitor project scope, schedules, deadlines, and financial performance.
• Develop client relationships through responsive and practical technical guidance.
• Support and mentor less-experienced engineers and designers.
