Placements24 is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to contribute to ongoing projects in George, Western Cape. The role involves creating and refining electrical designs for new products and systems, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and cost specifications, and collaborating with manufacturing and R&D teams to bring solutions to market.

The ideal candidate will have a BEng or BSc in Electrical Engineering, 4+ years of experience, and proficiency with CAD tools such as Altium Designer

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and component specifications using CAD software.
• Perform electrical simulations and analyses to validate design integrity and performance.
• Specify and select electrical components, ensuring compatibility and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to ensure designs are optimized for production and assembly in George .
• Conduct design reviews and incorporate feedback to enhance product functionality and reliability.
• Support the testing and validation phases of new electrical designs.
