Job summary

Denken Solutions, Inc. seeks an experienced PCBA repair expert to diagnose complex board failures, even without design documentation, and to develop repair plans with clear timelines and dependencies.

You will troubleshoot using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers, collaborating with junior and senior engineers while communicating clearly with non-technical stakeholders. Expect travel for escalations.

Qualifications

• 15 to 20 years of experience with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
• Strong expertise in PCBA design analysis and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot defective boards, with or without design documentation.
• Develop comprehensive board repair plans with approaches, timelines, and dependencies.
• Troubleshoot PCBA issues using appropriate equipment with minimal guidance.
• Travel for escalations, primarily to Singapore and China.

Job description

• Strong expertise in PCBA design analysis, reverse engineering, and diagnosis/troubleshooting to address our repair goals.
• Candidate should be capable of diagnosing and troubleshooting defective boards, with or without relevant design documentation.
• Skilled at developing comprehensive board repair plans, including approaches, timelines, and identifying technical dependencies.
• Applying critical thinking to troubleshoot PCBA issues without design documents.
• Proficient in using PCB troubleshooting equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
• Work with minimum guidance.
• Good track record of on time delivery.
• Candidate should be willing to travel for escalations. Primarily Singapore and China.
• Attitude to persevere through tough challenges.
• Good understanding on Power supplies and electrical systems will be a plus.
