Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience designing panels from scratch.
- Working knowledge of UL508 requirements.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- 5+ years creating instrument and I/O lists from P&IDs.
- Able to commute daily to the Hopedale, MA office.
- UL508 MTR certification.
- Experience in Class I Div 1/2 environments.
- PLC design and/or programming experience.

Projects range from smaller retrofits and expansions through to large capital builds, with control systems handled in-house from initial design through to commissioning and ongoing support.
The role
The Electrical Design Engineer will own the design of UL508-compliant industrial control panels from concept through to fabrication-ready documentation, including the specification of internal components and external instrumentation. This is a hands-on design position within a small, experienced engineering team, working closely with the in-house fabrication shop and project engineers.
