Jobot is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer EIT for commercial projects in South Florida. You will work on large-scale, high-visibility developments, with ownership opportunities in a hands-on engineering environment.

The ideal candidate has experience in electrical power and lighting systems design for institutional and commercial buildings, with Revit and AutoCAD proficiency and strong communication skills. Join a growing team with a strong project pipeline.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience designing power and lighting building systems on complex projects.
• Proficient in Revit, BIM, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and MS Office.
• EIT desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform 3D Revit and 2D CAD design work.
• Complete project designs, drawings, site observations, calculations, equipment selection and specs.
• Senior team interfaces with clients and leads design during construction.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication and teamwork.
• Coordinate electrical design with architecture, mechanical and other disciplines.

Job Details

Seeking an Electrical Design Engineers to join our Team. The ideal candidates will have experience with engineering consulting firms, electrical power, lighting, fire alarm, and building systems for institutional and commercial buildings, as well as proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET Accredited College or University
• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer designing power and lighting building systems on complex projects.
• EIT Desired
• Proficient in Revit Software, BIM, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.).
• Develop electrical designs from concept through completion of construction.
• Prepare engineering design calculations and layouts.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and narratives.
• Coordinate electrical design requirements with architecture, mechanical, and other disciplines.

Duties

• Performs 3D Revit and 2D CAD work. Performs involved and detailed design requirements.
• Completes project designs, drawings in 3D Revit and/or 2D CAD, site observations, specifications, calculations, equipment selection and application, correspondence, survey, code studies, and construction administration, as necessary.
• Senior level employees interface directly with clients and end users to understand and document expectations and lead the project during design and construction.
• Attention to detail, and high level of written and verbal communication skills.
• Team Player with people skills.
