Qualifications

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in K-12, laboratory, and healthcare design projects and a passion for contributing to high-quality building systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Architectural Engineering - Design and specify building electrical power distribution, lighting, IT/data systems, and specialty low-voltage systems
• Design emergency power systems
• Design solar photovoltaic systems
• Develop electrical designs using industry best practices and code compliance
• Prepare bid documents and specifications
• Develop electrical feasibility studies and conditions assessments
• Collaborate with internal team members and external design professionals
• Participate in project coordination, documentation, and construction support

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of electrical engineering experience in the building design industry
• Experience with K-12 and healthcare projects strongly preferred
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Pennsylvania preferred but not required
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on building systems is a plus
• Strong understanding of building codes, National Electrical Code (NEC), healthcare design codes, and industry standards
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
