Job description

We are a growing Power Engineering firm that recently completed a strategic acquisition, expanding our capabilities and project portfolio. As a result, we are looking to add two Electrical Design Engineers to support increased demand and collaborate with our expanding engineering team.

The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of electrical systems for power and industrial applications. This role offers hands‑on design work, exposure to LV and MV systems, and the opportunity to work closely with experienced engineers in a fast‑growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
• Develop electrical schematics, layouts, and drawings
• Support the design and integration of switchgear
• Work on Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) electrical systems
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to meet project requirements
• Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and customer specifications
• Participate in design reviews and technical discussions

Required Qualifications

• Experience in electrical design within power, industrial, or related engineering environments
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
• Hands‑on experience with switchgear
• Working knowledge of LV and MV electrical systems
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑based environment
• Salary up to $100,000, depending on experience
