Job summary

Randstad USA in Huntington Beach, CA is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our aerospace team. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of electrical design, wiring, and 3D design experience. You will contribute to complete aircraft interiors wiring layouts and develop detailed drawings to support manufacturing.

The position is on-site in Huntington Beach with typical 8am to 4pm hours. Applicants should have a strong background in airworthiness and be ready to collaborate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of electrical design and wiring experience.
• Experience with aircraft interiors and aerospace standards.

Responsibilities

• Undertake systems concept, definition, and layout for the complete wiring of aircraft interiors.
• Produce and check accurate 2D drawings, wiring diagrams, and wire harnesses to support manufacturing and meet release dates.
• Draft test plans, reports, and analyses, including electrical load analysis and electromagnetic interference test plans.
• Serve as a shop liaison during initial production units to troubleshoot engineering issues and support the manufacturing team.
• Evaluate supplier lead times, costs, and component availability while ensuring designs meet airworthiness requirements for passenger aircraft.
