Job summary

Randstad USA is assisting a leader in the aerospace industry in Huntington Beach, CA to recruit an Electrical Design Engineer. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree and 1–3 years of electrical/wiring design and 3D design experience.

You will design electrical systems and wiring layouts for cabin interiors, produce diagrams and load analyses, and write test plans and ECNs while coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, and shop teams to resolve issues in real time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of electrical/wiring design and 3D design experience.
• Experience with electrical drawings and 2D layouts.

Responsibilities

• Design and document electrical systems, wiring layouts, and 2D drawings for custom transport cabin interiors.
• Produce and review wiring diagrams, wire harnesses, electrical installations, and electrical load analyses.
• Write and prepare test plans, engineering change notices (ECNs), and qualification reports.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and shop production teams to solve technical issues and support designs in real time.
