Job summary

Actalent in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Electrical Controls Design Engineer to support industrial automation projects from concept through startup. The role combines electrical design, control panel design, PLC programming, and commissioning, offering ownership of projects through the full lifecycle.

Responsibilities include designing control systems and panels using AutoCAD Electrical, building BOMs, programming Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMIs, and assisting with FAT/SAT, testing, and startup

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial controls design and implementation.
• Strong AutoCAD Electrical (or Autocad) and control panel design experience.
• PLC programming experience, preferably Allen-Bradley Studio 5000/RSLogix 5000.
• HMI development experience, ideally FactoryTalk View.
• Ability to support startup and commissioning activities with occasional travel.

Dallas-Fort Worth, TX 2+ Years of Experience We're seeking an Electrical Controls Design Engineer to support industrial automation projects from concept through startup. This role combines electrical design, control panel design, PLC programming, and commissioning , offering the opportunity to take ownership of projects throughout the full lifecycle. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
