Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Salary: $95,000–$115,000 salary plus 10% annual bonus


Join an in-house engineering team and see your designs through to execution.

Are you an Electrical Engineer with EPC experience or a background in design projects within an operating environment? This is your chance to move in-house and join a major operator where you’ll drive electrical scope on capital projects from inside the business. From greenfield builds to brownfield upgrades, you’ll lead the electrical execution of capital projects from concept to commissioning, and see your designs come to life on site.

You'll be part of a lean, capable engineering team that works cross-functionally with operations and project managers, shaping everything from early feasibility studies to final start-up. Your ability to guide contractors, evaluate technical bids, and develop electrical specifications will be key to delivering high-performing assets.


What you’ll be doing:

• Lead electrical design across major CAPEX projects, from early concept to handover
• Coordinate contractors and suppliers during installation and commissioning
• Prepare technical documentation, schematics, routing diagrams, and equipment specs
• Review and check engineering drawings, ensuring alignment with site needs
• Support site teams with troubleshooting, training, and after-action reviews

What we’re looking for:

• 3–7 years’ experience in industrial electrical engineering (EPC or Owner/Operator design background)
• Solid knowledge of control systems, PLC/HMI programming, schematics, MCCs
• Experience in commissioning and working with external engineering partners
• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field (PE or advanced degree a plus)
• Willingness to travel and be on-site during critical phases
