Job summary

Highbrow Technology Inc is seeking a Hardware Electrical Design Engineer to design embedded hardware, PCB boards, and high-speed interfaces for next-generation HMI modules.

You will work with SoCs/MCUs from Qualcomm, NXP, Renesas, ESP32, STM32, and collaborate with customers, suppliers, and manufacturing teams on hardware architecture and bring-up.

This long-term contract role requires 5+ years of hardware experience, hands-on lab work, and knowledge of EMI/EMC, regulatory certifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hardware/electronics design experience
• Strong experience with embedded hardware design and PCB development
• Hands-on experience with SoCs/MCUs, sensors, and high-speed interfaces
• Strong schematic, layout, debugging, and board bring-up experience
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC and regulatory certifications
• Comfortable working hands-on in a hardware lab with oscilloscopes and signal analyzers
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded hardware and PCB boards

• Design schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs, and hardware architecture
• Work with MIPI DSI, CSI, USB, HDMI, LVDS, SPI, I2C, UART
• Design and integrate sensor boards
• Perform board bring-up, debugging, and hardware testing
• Use oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, and lab equipment
• Support SI/PI, thermal, EMI/EMC, FCC/CE/IC certification
• Work with customers, suppliers, and manufacturing teams
