Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering from four-year college or university; and 5+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

  • Mathematical Skills: The ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Drivers License; Professional Engineering Certification preferred.
  • Ability to work with computers and software dealing with spreadsheets, work processing, CAD and databases.
  • Ability to do computer programming.
  • Ability to work with interface equipment between computers and manufacturing equipment.

Note: Time spent working on the felt line is the time that the employee would be exposed to high noise levels, vibration, airborne particles, moving parts, and possible shock. While working in the sewing department, the employee could be expected to be exposed to moving parts, electrical shock and possible toxic chemicals.
