Job summary

Tata Technologies Ltd. seeks a collaborative engineer to work on Functional ECUs and Smart Security, contributing to the NA electronics center of excellence aligned with Tier I global strategy.

Responsibilities include ECU applications, design planning, supplier coordination, and documentation management to ensure performance, cost, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent).
• 5+ years as an electrical design engineer.
• Experience in vehicle electronics development.

• Vehicle application of Functional ECUs (power slide door ECU, power tailgate ECU, Seat ECU, Window ECU, Sunroof ECU, etc.) and Smart Security (Smart ECU, Immobile, antennas, etc.).
• Plan structure and design of Functional ECUs and Smart Security through target setting, packaging and style feasibility that balances performance, customer needs and cost while ensuring regulatory compliance
• Issue design specifications to suppliers and manage supplier schedule, performance and quality
• Manage part list and issue internal design documents including engineering change instructions and wiring specifications

The Vehicle Development team is seeking a collaborative engineer to work on Functional ECUs and Smart Security. The primary responsibility of this role is vehicle development for Functional ECUs and Smart Security. The person in this role will work to fill Electronic Systems Vehicle’s objective of building a NA electronics center of excellence that complements a Tier I’s Global direction.
