Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as an Electrical Design Engineer is required.

• Familiarity with Power Line Systems software is required.
• P.E. Licensure is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Civil or Electrical Engineering is REQUIRED.

Job description

An outstanding, full-time opening has become available in the Greater Anchorage, AK area for an individual with 7-10 years’ experience as an Electrical Design Engineer with a primary background in Transmission Lines.

Responsibilities include: engineering analysis, route selection, structure spotting, power line design calculations, business development and client interactions.

This position would earn a generous base salary and great benefits package including full medical benefits, 401K plan, generous PTO and other outstanding perks.

All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration.

• Please DO NOT APPLY unless you have 7+ years of Electrical Design Engineer experience with Transmission Lines.
• Knowledge of NESC code or ANSI standards is HIGHLY PREFERRED.
• Familiarity with Power Line Systems software suite i.e., PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, TOWER, etc., is REQUIRED.
• P.E. Licensure is HIGHLY PREFERRED – (EIT is OK, only with PE eligibility).
• A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Civil or Electrical Engineering is REQUIRED.
