Position Title: Part Time Design Checker-Electrical

Position Description

Perform senior level detail checking of electrical instrumentation design including complex designs and layouts of One-line Diagrams, E/I Plans, Sections & Details, Wiring Diagrams and Schematic Diagrams utilizing CAD hardware and software.

Essential Functions

• Review vendor drawings and information.
• Perform detail check of discipline drawings for accuracy and compliance with applicable codes and industry standards.
• Read and comprehend PID’s.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Ability to work with Autocad and Navisworks
• 30 or more years of experience in a drafting environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of applicable codes and industry standards.

Education

• High school diploma. Associates Degree or certification from technical trade school preferred.
