Job summary

RANDALL’s Titusville Electrical Division seeks an Electrical Design Analyst to support estimating, planning, and delivery of large-scale commercial electrical projects along Florida’s Space Coast from our Titusville office.

The role reviews drawings, specifications, and narratives to identify conflicts, quantity discrepancies, and potential financial exposure, coordinating with estimating, project management, BIM/VDC, engineering, and subcontractors to ensure accurate pricing and construction.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of commercial/industrial electrical construction.
• Experience reviewing electrical drawings, specs, one-lines, site plans, underground systems, and equipment schedules.
• Ability to complete quantity takeoffs and construction calculations.
• Working knowledge of NEC requirements and common electrical-installation practices.
• Ability to interpret civil, structural, architectural, and mechanical docs affecting electrical work.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to identify contractual and financial risk without overstating conclusions.
• Prior experience as estimator/project manager/electrical designer.
• Experience with medium-voltage distribution, underground ductbanks, industrial facilities, substations, or aerospace projects.
• Familiarity with design tools like Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Accubid, LiveCount, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs, narratives, and proposals to identify conflicts and cost exposure.
• Verify issued-for-construction documents contain sufficient information to price and construct work.
• Maintain a design-analysis log with open questions and cost exposure.
• Prepare technical backups for change orders and cost adjustments.
• Coordinate with estimating, project management, BIM/VDC, engineering, and field teams.
