Job summary

H. T. PROF Group is seeking an Electrical Department Head in Boston to lead a team of engineers and own the electrical design for large data centers. The role involves coordinating with clients and cross-discipline teams to deliver mission-critical projects on time and to spec.

You will mentor junior engineers, ensure engineering quality as the engineer of record, and drive protection and control scheme development for high-performance facilities.

Qualifications

• 15+ years designing electrical systems for high-performance facilities, including hands-on data center and mission critical work.
• PE license required.
• Working knowledge of Revit and BIM.
• Experience with medium voltage distribution and protection and control schemes (SEL or Basler).

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical department and its engineers.
• Run the electrical design on large data centers, coordinating with the client and the mechanical and site teams.
• Develop protection and control schemes: relay settings, relaying diagrams.
• Serve as engineer of record and mentor the newer engineers.
