Dewberry’s MEPS team in Raleigh, NC seeks an Electrical Department Manager to lead a strong electrical engineering group focused on water and wastewater facilities. You will mentor engineers and designers, allocate resources, and drive successful project outcomes for clients in NC, VA, MD, CO, and FL.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical engineering.
• 15+ years of design or WW/W operation experience or industrial projects.
• PE is required.
• Must have experience designing electrical systems and producing design deliverables.
• Proven leadership skills delegating to engineering and design staff.
• Must be a self-starter with initiative, drive and determination.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA Life Safety Codes, and related Codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers to execute projects in the Water/Wastewater sector.
• Provide mentorship and growth opportunities within the department.
• Strategically allocate resources and manage project schedules and design coordination.
• Ensure discipline budgets and client communication throughout projects.
• Identify staff roles and engineers of record, ensuring milestones are met.
