Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company in Georgia is seeking an electrician to plan, lay out, install, test and repair wiring, fixtures and control systems in accordance with plans and codes.

Intermediate level candidates will interpret drawings, measure, cut and install conduit, pull wires, test systems and ensure safety. Must work outdoors in all weather and be available for overtime, nights and weekends as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior field experience preferred.
• Able to understand and follow written and oral instructions and communicate clearly with supervision.
• Proficient with hand and power tools and layout tools.

Responsibilities

• Interprets drawings, sketches, software and plans to determine procedures and tools.
• Installs electrical conduit, cables, fixtures, and control systems per specs.
• Tests systems for continuity and safety; starts up and validates operations.
• Works with high and low voltage systems; disassembles and repairs equipment as needed.
