Job summary

The Industrial Company is seeking an Intermediate level electrical installer/ technician to plan, lay out, install, test and repair wiring, fixtures, motors, and control systems following plans and codes. This role requires interpreting drawings, assembling conduit, and testing for safety and compatibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior related experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret drawings, plans and instructions.
• Competent use of hand and power tools; ability to follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and plans to determine procedures, tools and equipment needed.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit and components.
• Install control and distribution apparatus and secure in place.
• Test systems and verify electrical continuity and safety.
• Observe equipment to identify hazards and determine adjustments.
• Work with high and low voltage systems and perform repairs as needed.
