Rexel USA, Inc. in Hempstead, NY, is seeking a Counter Sales Representative Union to provide prompt, courteous service and drive electrical distribution sales. You will assist customers, process orders, and help stock and maintain the showroom and counter area.

The role emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and teamwork within a branch environment, with duties expanding to inside sales and order fulfillment as needed.

Qualifications

• Customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience preferred.
• High School or GED required.
• Forklift/ pallet jack certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers promptly and courteously with their purchases and processing of their orders or returns.
• Assist in driving electrical distribution sales for our counter business and developing new and existing customer relationships.
• Stay informed and educated on product knowledge.
• Inform manager of any potentially hazardous or elevated safety or customer-satisfaction situations.
• Assist with daily restocking, showroom maintenance, and keeping showroom and counter clean and organized.
• May perform other branch duties including inside sales and order fulfillment as required.
