Job summary

Platt Electric Supply, Inc. in Nampa, ID is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to provide prompt, courteous service for customers and support daily showroom and warehouse operations.

You will help drive counter sales, assist with orders, and maintain a tidy showroom. The role requires strong product knowledge, a customer-friendly attitude, and teamwork with the branch staff to process purchases and returns efficiently.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience preferred
• Previous branch experience preferred
• High School or GED - Required

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers promptly and courteously with their purchases and processing of their orders or returns
• Assist in driving electrical distribution sales for our counter business and developing new and existing customer relationships
• Assist with daily restocking, showroom maintenance, and keeping showroom and counter clean and organized
• Assist with warehouse functions as needed, including receiving, shipping, stocking, and deliveries
• Stay informed and educated on product knowledge
• Assist inside sales as needed
• Inform manager of any potentially hazard or elevated situation pertaining to safety or the satisfaction of a customer
