Monarch Electric Supply, an affiliate of USESI, is seeking a motivated Counter Sales Associate for our East Brunswick, NJ location. The role focuses on assisting customers at the sales counter, processing orders, quotes, and returns, and supporting warehouse tasks to ensure smooth operations.

We value strong communication, problem-solving, and a teamwork mindset. A high school diploma is required, with prior customer service experience preferred and electrical product knowledge a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior customer service experience is essential.
• Electrical product knowledge is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers promptly at the sales counter, by phone, and through email.
• Create and manage sales orders, returns (RGAs), and inventory transfers.
• Provide quotes, place and process orders, and support walk-in customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized counter and warehouse area.
• Support order fulfillment, including stock placement, will call preparation, and general warehouse tasks.
• Proactively track and follow up on orders to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and follow all company procedures.
• Expand customer base and grow counter sales and profits.
• Other duties assigned by the manager.
