Position Summary

The Electrical Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the scheduling of utility disconnects and reconnects with homeowners and utility companies. This position will contact city or county inspectors to schedule inspections and meter releases. Also, coordinate with the local operations team to ensure projects get any necessary changes needed to pass final inspection. The Electrical Coordinator will assist the Electrical Production Manager with scheduling and overseeing the installation of electrical-related equipment.

Pay Rate

$22 to $25/hr.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the Electrical Crews in collaboration with the Electrical Production Manager.
  • Plan, coordinate, and schedule electrical installations ensuring compliance with National Building and Electrical Codes and company standards.
  • Review inspection lists and schedule inspections accordingly.
  • Assess potential installation sites remotely for feasibility and design requirements.
  • Communicate with city and county officials regarding inspection results and issues.
  • Complete permit revision paperwork.
  • Manage documentation, including printing plans, uploading inspection results, and updating reports.
  • Answer customer questions regarding inspections and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Enforce safety procedures and attend departmental meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements
Education & Certifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
Experience
  • At least two years of relevant experience; solar experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work in a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Ability to interpret job orders and specifications.
Additional Skills & Training
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and experience with CRM and ERP systems is a plus.
  • Effective communication across departments within 24 hours.
Physical Demands and Abilities
  • Prolonged sitting, computer use, and phone work.
  • Occasional lifting of 5-10 pounds.
  • Frequent concentration and attention to detail.
Travel Requirements

Employee must travel for business purposes, excluding commuting.
