Electrical Automation Services is seeking a skilled technician to join our on-site team in Batavia, IL. The role focuses on installing, configuring, and troubleshooting photo eyes, proximity switches, PLC I/O, and related wiring, with emphasis on PLC/HMI programming and 480V three-phase systems.

The ideal candidate will have PLC experience, servo systems familiarity, and a solid grasp of safety protocols. Overtime is available; relocation assistance may be provided for qualified candidates.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and servo systems.
• Experience with troubleshooting and maintenance of packaging equipment in manufacturing preferred.
• Thorough understanding of manufacturing safety procedures (lockout/tagout, confined spaces, PPE).
• PLC programming preferred.

Aufgaben

• Install, configure and troubleshoot photo eyes, proximity switches, limit switches, PLC I/O modules, and related control wiring.
• Provide troubleshooting for analog and digital controls, 480V 3-phase power, motors, VFDs, servo drives, and soft starts.
• Maintain and troubleshoot encoders and load cells; oversee position feedback devices.
• Program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI interfaces; modify PLC logic via ladder logic.
• Troubleshoot graphical HMI interfaces and communication protocols (Profibus, serial, industrial Ethernet).
• Diagnose equipment issues using electrical schematics; perform preventive maintenance on lasers, conveyors, and production equipment.

Applicants must currently live in the United States and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. We do not sponsor visas.Location: This position is on-site in Batavia, Illinois. Please apply only if you live within 40 miles of Batavia, IL.Ability to work 3rd shift, Overtime (1.5) after 40 hours and double time after 48 hours. 10 paid holidays, PTO upon start, regular and irregular raises based on performance.Duties:Perform installation, configuration and troubleshooting of photo eyes, proximity switches, limit switches, PLC input/output modules, and all associated control wiring.Provide troubleshooting expertise of analog and digital controls with 480V, 3 phase power distribution systems, motors, variable frequency drives, servo drives, and soft starts.Maintain and troubleshoot position feedback devices encoders, and load cells.Programming and troubleshooting of PLC and HMI interfaces.Perform configuration and logic modifications to PLC control systems.
