A small industrial pump repair company is looking for an Electrical Pump Technician for their shop in Arvada, CO to work M-F typically 7:00am - 3:30pm. The company has been in business over 70 years and is well established in the pump industry for quality. The team is small but has many years of high level diagnostic and repair experience, and is looking to bring someone in to share their knowledge with to build skills (at this company, you are seen as a valuable asset to the team, not just another number.)
The Electrical Pump Tech may work alone or with team members. They will play a crucial role in disassembly, repair, and reassembly of Industrial / Municipal / Commercial Pump systems for various industries (water, chemical, sewage, oils, etc.). Day to days include primarily field work utilizing company provided truck; including anything from high rises to industrial factories and sewage facilities. Examples of responsibilities include programming and analyzing VFDs, checking motors with electron motor tester for integrity, analyzing power quality of electrical equipment, commissioning a wall mounted control cabinet, and generally using volt meters, amp meters, etc. to diagnose and repair pumps, motors, controls, pipes, and valves for various clients. In shop work includes inspecting parts, sandblasting, ordering components, painting, and testing systems.
The technician needs to be able to handle sewage, hazardous liquids, confined spaces, and high voltage; must be able to communicate well with clients, suppliers, and company staff, and use basic computer and blueprint reading skills. The technician is expected to provide own personal hand and portable electric tools. The company will provide specialized tools and test equipment.

$38/hr to $42/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
