Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking an On-site Electrical/Controls Technician in Pitman, NJ to maintain and enhance electrical and control systems in a food manufacturing environment. You will document, troubleshoot, and coordinate maintenance activities across shifts, with occasional off-site support as needed.

Qualifications

• AS/AAS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi software preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems design documentation.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current documentation for all electrical and control systems.
• Assist mechanics in diagnosing and resolving electrical or control-related issues.
• Provide training and coordinate activities of Electro-Mechanics across shifts.
• Occasionally work offsite to support troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ensure production equipment is maintained according to the production schedule.
• Conduct inspections safely while equipment is operational.
• Perform maintenance on batching and process control systems (networks, AC/DC, servo drives, pneumatics, hydraulics).
• Keep accurate work records per work orders and job assignments.
