You will lead architectures, fault management, and advanced control concepts with a focus on reliability and performance.

The role requires strong power electronics expertise, collaboration across engineering and supply chain, and ability to communicate complex topics to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience in power electronics design.
• Strong knowledge of AC/DC and DC/AC conversion.
• Experience developing gate drivers and fault-detection systems.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas to cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Defining and validating power converter and inverter architectures, subcomponents, and performance characteristics for industrial applications
• Leading analytical and design activities using established power electronics methodologies and technologies
• Developing gate driver designs to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• Creating fault detection, protection, and signaling schemes to enhance diagnostics
• Supporting the design and development of advanced power control algorithms for industrial VSDs
• Collaborating with engineering teams to validate power section performance, reliability, and manufacturability
• Communicating technical strategies to senior leaders and cross-functional teams
• Contributing to technical documentation, white papers, and design guidelines
