Job summary

Fresenius Kabi in Grand Island, NE seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to design, develop, implement, and support electrical control systems for site utilities and manufacturing equipment. You will ensure validated state, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement to boost efficiency and capacity.

Requires a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of related experience, strong PLC/HMI, and energy management capabilities.

Qualifications

B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of experience.
Knowledge of NEC, high voltage up to 460 V, machine controls including PLCs, relay logic, motor controls (VFDs/servo), PID, thermocouples, RTDs and transducers, and operator interfaces.
Proficient in reading electrical schematics and ladder logic.
Strong written and verbal communication, documentation, organization, and leadership to guide plant electrical staff.
English is the primary business language.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and support onsite control systems architecture (PLC, HMI, industrial IT network).
Maintain Facility Monitoring System and Building Management System in a validated state.
Lead energy management initiatives and energy policy implementations.
Collaborate with vendors for technical support and hardware applications.
Assist with capital improvement projects with required documentation.
