Job summary

Makino is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design controls for its product lines, including horizontal and vertical machining centers and transport systems. You will create electrical/control designs for standard and customer-specific options, and maintain documentation across Makino’s machining centers.

You will provide technical support to sales, customers, and field service while staying current with relevant electrical standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical design practices.
• Experience with ladder logic programming is desirable.
• Working knowledge of machine control systems.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical/control designs for Makino options and document changes.
• Maintain electrical documentation per engineering changes.
• Provide technical support to sales, customers, and field service.
• Stay updated on local regulations and product standards.
• Collaborate with MT and other Makino teams on technical matters.
