Job summary

Ohio Gratings, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to own control systems from design through implementation. You will manage capital projects, develop and test control architectures, and support equipment with on-site commissioning and training.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in engineering, 3–5 years PLC/HMI experience (Rockwell/Siemens), and proficiency with CAD tools like AutoCAD; familiarity with robotics (Fanuc, Yaskawa/Motoman) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-5 years minimum experience with PLC/HMI software for machinery/equipment.
• Experience with Rockwell and Siemens PLC/HMI programming software.

Responsibilities

• Manage capital projects and develop control systems for equipment.
• Generate schematics and panel layouts using CAD.
• Conduct system testing, commissioning, and training on site.
• Provide guidance to electrical technicians and ensure safety compliance.
