Job summary

MJ Engineering & Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Design/Controls Engineer to design, program, test, and debug custom automation equipment in a full-time role based in Gahanna, OH.

The position includes on-site installation, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and customer-focused problem solving. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of relevant experience, expertise in Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMI systems, and electrical design for automation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years relevant work experience required.
• Experience with PLC and HMI systems (Allen-Bradley preferred).
• Electrical design experience for automation control systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, test, and debug automation equipment.
