Pay Range

$119,200 - $178,800 annually, with eligibility for bonuses. Salary varies based on experience, skills, and education.

Position Overview

The Electrical & Controls Engineer will lead electrical and controls aspects of capital projects at Johns Manville's Roofing Systems plants, primarily in North America, supporting project development, execution, and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage electrical/control system projects, including scope, design, specifications, and documentation.
• Coordinate with external vendors and manage procurement, bidding, and installation processes.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and documentation, including safety initiatives and compliance with NFPA 70E standards.
• Lead electrical project management, including stakeholder communication, contractor management, and project execution from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and at least 5 years of experience in control systems engineering.
• Proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLC/HMI, AutoCAD, and project management skills.
• Experience managing projects valued between $500k and $2M, with ability to support multiple projects and travel 50-75%.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with 480V and 4160V power distribution systems.
