About the role

Seeking an engineering leader eager to make an impact! As the Engineering Manager within one of our agile-factory teams, you'll be the spark that drives project efficiency and innovation. Your responsibilities
  • Provide engineering and operational support for implementation and integration of control systems to ensure adequate and reliable operation
  • Provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production.
  • Provides electrical and controls support, to operations as needed; including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance (PM), changeover, modifications and repair of line equipment
  • Investigate production problems, diagnose faults and partner with Maintenance to plan and organize equipment repairs to reduce downtime and outages.
  • Troubleshoots and accomplishes minor program changes in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s).
  • Manage small projects including developing project plans and leading project activities
  • Understands and is accountable for full compliance with RB local and Global EHS Policies and programs (i.e., PPE, HAZCOM, Lockout Tag Out, process safety, etc.)
  • Understands and is accountable for following: all Quality, GMP, and cleaning standards and guidelines
The experience we're looking for
  • BS or BA degree in Engineering required
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform complex system tests
  • Familiarity with process controls, motor controls, instrumentation, automation principles, and industrial networking
  • Familiarity with Allen-Bradley/RS Logix 5000/RS/5000 and Factory Talk View platforms
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in a team based manufacturing environment; on high speed packaging equipment preferred
  • Demonstrated strong troubleshooting skills through the use of continuous improvement techniques

Salary Range

USD $78,000.00 - $118,000.00

Pay Transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
