Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering is required.
10–20 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI is required.
AutoCAD experience is required.
Experience selecting components and designing control panels.
Experience starting up control panels and systems.
Willingness to travel to customer sites worldwide.
VFD drive experience is a plus.
Knowledge of electrical code standards.
Fueling Systems experience is preferred but not required.

Job Responsibilities

Develop Controls Engineering quotes and proposals based on customer project needs
Create Functional Specification documentation
Design electrical schematics, control panel and junction box layouts, outline drawings, component details, and network communication drawings
Select component parts and materials for controls projects and create Bills of Materials for procurement
Test and troubleshoot panels and control systems
Program PLC systems using FactoryTalk View Studio
Program HMI systems using Panelview and FactoryTalk View SE
Program Historian systems using FactoryTalk Historian
Work with customers to integrate controls solutions into their systems
Travel to customer sites for field startup and integration of controls systems

Requirements

Minimum BS in Electrical Engineering
10-20 years of experience minimum with the electrical engineering responsibilities listed
Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI experience required
AutoCAD experience required
Experience with control component selection and control panel design
Experience starting up control panels and control systems
Ability to problem solve and assist customers with control system issues
VFD drive experience
Electrical code experience
Ability to travel to customer sites worldwide
